Privacy Policy

Cotiza ("Cotiza", "we", "us") builds a mobile and web app that helps contractors turn their voice into professional bilingual estimates and get paid. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Cotiza or joining our waitlist, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account & business profile: phone number, name, business name, trade, city/state, and an optional logo.
• Voice & text you provide: voice recordings and transcripts of the jobs you describe, and any text you type to create an estimate.
• Jobs & documents: estimates, invoices, line items, prices, clients you add, signed work terms, and before/after job photos.
• Payment information: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers or bank credentials on our servers.
• Waitlist: the phone, name and optional trade/city/email you submit to request beta access.

Information collected automatically

• Usage & device data: app events, approximate technical data, and analytics needed to run and improve the service.
• Location: if you use clock-in/out, we may capture best-effort GPS at that moment to attach to your job evidence. This is optional and tied to that feature.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the core service: turn your voice/text into estimates, create invoices, and manage your jobs.
• To process payments you collect through the app and to send SMS notifications about your account and jobs.
• To compile dispute evidence (signed terms, photos, clock-in/out, invoices) and, at your request, submit an appeal to the bank on your behalf.
• To improve our AI during the beta: with your consent, we keep your recordings, transcripts and estimates to improve the accuracy and quality of the estimating and pricing models.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Service providers we share data with

We share only what's necessary with vetted providers who process data on our behalf:

• Stripe — payment processing and payouts (Stripe Connect).
• Twilio — SMS verification and notifications.
• Anthropic — AI processing of your job description text/transcript to build the estimate.
• Deepgram — speech-to-text for your voice recordings.
• Cloud hosting and email delivery — to run the service and send transactional email.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

4. Affiliate partners

The Cotiza site and app can link to retailer product pages — for example, from a material line to that product at a store. Some of those links may be affiliate links: if you buy through one, Cotiza can earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

• What travels with the link is a referral identifier for the retailer — not your name, phone number, or job data. We do not send affiliate partners your personal information.
• The retailer's site is theirs: once you're there, their own privacy policy applies and they may use their own cookies.
• Commissions never change recommendations: quantities and items come from the job you described, not from what pays us.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and job data for as long as your account is active. During the beta, recordings and estimates may be retained to improve the AI, as described when you accept the terms. You can ask us to delete your data (see "Your rights"), subject to records we must keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and withdraw consent for beta AI-improvement use, by contacting us at info@infinicotiza.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Children

Cotiza is for professional use by adults (18+). It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. U.S. users & international transfers

Cotiza is operated for contractors in the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you consent to processing in the U.S.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
