Cotiza ("Cotiza", "we", "us") operates this website, infinicotiza.com, and the Cotiza app. This page explains how affiliate links may appear in our website and app, how we earn money from them, and what that does — and does not — change for you. We publish it to comply with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and material connections (16 CFR Part 255).

1. What an affiliate link is

Some links on this website, in our blog articles, and inside the Cotiza app point to product pages at third-party retailers — for example, a link from a material line in an estimate to that product's page at a hardware or home-improvement store. When one of those links is an affiliate link, the retailer pays Cotiza a commission if you click it and make a purchase.

2. What it costs you

Nothing. The price you pay at the retailer is the same whether you arrive through our link or search for the product yourself. The commission is paid by the retailer out of their own margin, never added to your price.

3. What it changes about our recommendations

Nothing, by design. The materials that appear in a Cotiza estimate are chosen because the job you described needs them — quantities and items are derived from your own description of the work, not from which retailer pays a commission. The market prices we show come from our own price data for your area. A commission never reorders, adds, or removes a material from your estimate.

4. Where affiliate links can appear

• On this website, including blog articles that list tools or materials for a type of job.
• Inside the Cotiza app, where a material row links to a product page at a retailer.
• In documents or messages that include a list of materials with links.

Not every outbound link is an affiliate link. When a retailer program is active, links to that retailer from the surfaces above may earn us a commission.

5. Our relationship with retailers

Cotiza participates, or may apply to participate, in affiliate programs operated by retailers of tools and construction materials, directly or through affiliate networks. Being part of a program does not mean the retailer endorses Cotiza, and it does not mean Cotiza endorses every product the retailer sells.
