From "let me get you a quote" to money in the bank

Cotiza turns the way a contractor already talks about a job into a professional, bilingual estimate — and then walks it to approval and payment. Here is the whole flow, shown with real captures of the app in production.

1. Describe the job — speak it or type it

There are two equal ways to start, and both are first-class: speak the job the way you'd tell a friend ("a 12 by 8 drywall wall in the garage, with a 32-inch door…"), or type it in the same plain words. The app understands English, Spanish, or both mixed. A third option, manual, lets you build the estimate line by line with no AI at all — that one is free, always.

The captures on this page demonstrate the typed channel; the voice channel works the same way — you talk, the app transcribes, and the flow continues identically from there.

2. The AI builds a real breakdown — and you stay in charge

In under a minute the job becomes an estimate: a scope of work in both languages, and a materials-and-labor breakdown where every line has a quantity, a unit, and a price suggested from data for your area. Nothing is locked: tap any line to change quantities or prices, add or remove lines, and set your profit on top. If a price looks out of range for your market, the app marks it instead of hiding it.

3. Your client approves from a link — and signs before you start

Send the estimate as a link. Your client opens a clean page with the scope, the line items and the total, and approves with one tap — no app install, no account. Before the work starts, Cotiza can also generate the work terms for the client to sign, so scope and price are agreed in writing. Photos and a work clock build your evidence trail as you go.

4. A bilingual PDF, made for real clients

Every estimate exports as a professional PDF — in English, in Spanish, or both side by side: each line item, the "not included" list, the assumptions and the terms appear in both languages on the same page. Your business name and city are on top.

5. Get paid — by card, bank, or however you already collect

Convert the approved estimate to an invoice and share a payment link: your client pays by card or bank transfer (ACH). Cotiza's own fee is a flat 2%, only when you collect through Cotiza — card processing costs come on top, and the app shows you the combined fee and your exact payout, to the cent, before you share the link. If the client pays you by Zelle, cash or check, you record it and there's no fee at all.
